“I wish I could tell you just how I felt
I don’t pray I shower and say goodnight to myself
And when I close my eyes
I feel like a page..
..with a crossed-out name.
with a crossed-out name”

My Sweet Lord George Harrison

bohemea:

George Harrison - My Sweet Lord

I really want to know you
Really want to go with you

George’s spirit & light has soothed me my entire life. I often tell the story of the time a cruel religion teacher in high school poked fun at the chanting in this song, looked down on a spirituality he couldn’t understand or accept, and how it hurt my young heart because I had always gone to this song for comfort. George is the sweet warm voice that keeps me safe, he always finds me when I need him.

“Come pick me up
Take me out
Fuck me up
Steal my records
Screw all my friends
They’re all full of shit
With a smile on your face
And then do it again”
—Come Pick Me Up (via letitride)

“China’s Politburo directed the intrusion into Google’s computer systems in that country, a Chinese contact told the American Embassy in Beijing in January, one cable reported. The Google hacking was part of a coordinated campaign of computer sabotage carried out by government operatives, private security experts and Internet outlaws recruited by the Chinese government.” — New York Times excerpt from its articles about more than 250,000 U.S. diplomatic cables leaked to Wikileaks, the latest trove of sensitive information that the whistleblower website — which reportedly suffered a denial-of-service attack yesterday — has made public. Google, too, had suspected that the Chinese government was behind the cyberattacks into its e-mail and computer systems in that country late last year. In January, the Silicon Valley Internet giant defied China by refusing to filter and censor search results. A back-and-forth ensued. Seven months later, though, Google gave in. China had threatened to withhold the company’s license to operate in that country, and Google couldn’t pass up that huge, untapped market. Google now has an agreement with China to avoid linking to material deemed a national-security threat. (via carondelet)

“If someone told me to write a book on morality, it would have a hundred pages and ninety-nine of them would be blank. On the last page I would write, “I recognize only one duty and that is to love.” And as far as everything else is concerned, I say no.” —Albert Camus (via azspot)

“If I fall will you catch me?
If I’m sorry, sorry enough
If I fall will you pity me?
Will you confuse my love for the cobwebs?
Confuse my love for the cobwebs?”
